A guided reading sheet about Avatars. This is useful for any students studying GCSE religious Studies Hinduism as one of their religions. I made this for the AQA specification, however would be useful for other specs as well.

AQA Crime and Punishment Revision darts worksheet. This is a worksheet to check pupils understanding of 20 of the main keywords or concepts or teachings within this unit of work. Pupils colour code red or green for their understanding on the dartboard, depending on how confidently they can answer the question. You can then see overall how much pupils know about this unit of work and pick out areas of weakness to work on. Done this will my GCSE group they found it really useful to check and assess knowledge on this unit of work. There are these sheets available on TES for each of the following units of work separately or a bundle deal for them all: Christian Beliefs, Christian Practices, Hindu Beliefs, Hindu Practices, Relationships, Peace and Conflict, Crime and Punishment and Religion and Life.

New Spec 9-1 AQA Religious Studies Revision exam structure and how the paper works. This is 15 slides that takes pupils carefully through how each paper works and the difference between Paper 1 and Paper 2. It also explains how they should structure they answers and what the questions are looking for. It has all the key dates and what they need to know. This is made for Christianity and Hinduism - however could easily be changed to the comparative religion you are studying. It also has themes and issues A,B,D,E - again could be changed to incorporate the themes you are studying.

this worksheet can be used to hep students understand why christians respond to victims of war using three stories from the bible. The Good Samaritan, The Beatitudes and the Parable of the sheep and the goats. It uses the PIXL approach of reducing and transforming information. My pupils found it useful and helpful to remember and recall information that is needed for the GCSE exam on the section of the AQA Spec for Peace and Conflict- Victims of War.

This is a worksheet which covers a few different activities about abortion and then culminates in pupils writing an exam question. The exam question is geared towards AQA, but could be used for any exam board if you adapt the type of question used. Really useful for consolidation or for lower ability pupils to take them through the key ideas on abortion.

Really useful, especially for lower ability students as it guides them through a 12 mark answer using a writing frame and ideas which get them started. it is a double sided sheet with the markscheme placed in it and a space for teachers or students to provide feedback on the answer.

New Spec AQA RS Hinduism Beliefs Revision Guide. Includes all content for Hinduism Beliefs section of the course. It also has questions for pupils to consolidate understanding as well as lots of practice exam questions throughout for pupils to attempt within the guide. Really useful if pupils have missed lessons or to give a recap and overall of Hindu Beliefs. Has Key words throughout each sub-topic. Include PLC (Personalised Learning Checklists) for pupils to RAG confidence levels on each topic. Please search for the other one I have made on Hindu Practices.

New Spec 9-1 AQA Religious Studies Christian Beliefs Personalised Learning Checklists PLC. Useful for pupils to RAG themselves on what they know before and then after revising. By RAGing themselves they can know the areas they have to go away and revise or seek further help for. It also has areas for them to RAG key words and quotes to see if they know any that link to that area of the specification. Set out in ‘I can’ statements so pupils can think about what they can do already and what else they need to learn. Could be used at the start of the course of before revision for the exams.

Theme F Human Rights and Social justice AQA Religious Studies A resource / worksheet for pupils to practice exam skills. Made for homelearning but could be used in class or for homework. I use these to get pupils to plan out ideas on them rather than write out full answers, but could be used for that.
